The provision of funding to support developments (that do not attract other finance) in ways of cultivating sound clinical thinking and professional judgement in postgraduate doctors

Research to unearth, explore and promote understanding of the subtleties of clinical practice and medical education that are essential for the successful implementation of current curricula, but which are not yet otherwise officially recognised or resourced
